python-sunlight software package provides set of bindings to access U.S. government data (Python 2), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-sunlight
python-sunlight is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-sunlight package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-sunlight *
You will get with python-sunlight package name, version, architecture and description in a table
